I am a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, certified through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC),  and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).

I have been training dogs for over 15 years and teach in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor group sessions, and private in-home, urban, and virtual sessions.

I am an active member of the community, volunteering and working with shelters and rescues, providing assessments and rehabilitating dogs for adoption. I also maintain relationships with local veterinarians and assist dog (and cat) owners with their training needs.

I specialize in behavior modification, helping to recreate the trust and family bond with aggression and anxiety cases.

My primary focus since 2016 has been Service Dog training. 

I’ve found a passion for assisting owner-trained Service Dog teams in the Ottawa Valley using my years of experience working with special-needs dog owners. 

I train Service Dogs to assist their owners who suffer from psychiatric disorders such as depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I also train Service Dogs to assist their owners with physical disorders such as stability, light mobility, vision, hearing, medical alert, autism, counterbalance and bracing.
